I’m Ivan Vuković, a certified Body-Mind Centering® Somatic Movement Educator based in Zagreb, Croatia.
I completed the SME program in 2022, and I’m currently in the BMC® Practitioner Program (graduating 2027) — both through Moveus in Germany, a licensed BMC® training organization, with both credentials issued by the School for Body-Mind Centering®. I had the honor of studying directly with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen in person — in Gothenburg (2016), Berlin (2016), and New York (2018), as well as in all her online programs since 2020.
I’m also a certified Yoga of Heart teacher (since 2016), and an English and Spanish language and literature teacher and translator. Under the name Magellano, I’ve been releasing hip-hop music since 2001 — and have published 16 albums altogether. Alongside that, I record spoken-word audio contemplations that explore the same somatic and philosophical ground as my BMC® work.
Life That Said Yes is the platform that holds all of it together.
Why “Life That Said Yes”?
At the moment of our conception, a wonder unfolds—an alchemical union of feminine and masculine principles, creating a whole greater than its parts. In that instant, Life said Yes, sparking the creation of our physical body infused with soul-consciousness. Thus begins our journey as living, breathing, sentient beings, a sacred act of creation. By remembering our origin, we reconnect with the joy of our existence—a celebration not of what we achieve, but of the miracle that we are.
We are creative potential, an expression of Life’s intrinsic intelligence. Never fixed or static, we are a process—alive, growing, ever-changing. We navigate phases, embrace experiences, and hold the power to create and reinvent ourselves. Our purpose is to honor life, our unique journey, and the paths of others. Through deeply experiencing life, we cultivate profound respect and joy, undeterred by challenges. We are here. We are alive. What we do with this opportunity is ours to choose.
Life’s mystery is vast and magical, layered with endless possibilities for self-discovery. It’s an adventure for the courageous, a journey to reclaim the strength that is our birthright. We are love, light, and beauty—as individuals and as a community of seekers building the foundations for a New Earth from the cellular level upward. How We Embody Life That Said Yes
Possible pathways weaving this philosophy into lived wisdom:
FOUNDATION — Safety: Creating a safe field for exploration. Gentleness: Meeting ourselves with compassionate presence. Trust: Being aware of the bigger picture. Curiosity: Being open to what is.
SOMATIC PRESENCE — Cellular Consciousness: Deep listening to the cellular matrix. Breath: Participating in life’s rhythmic pulse. Touch: Communicating with the living tissues. Embodiment: Awakening all of our parts.
CREATIVE ALCHEMY — Storytelling: Weaving stories that transform and inspire. Art: Creating beauty inspired by life’s essence. Myth: Mirroring cosmic intelligence through symbols. Improvisation: Embodying spontaneous flow.

That philosophy found its clearest expression in “Life That Said Yes” — the poem I wrote for my BMC® SME graduation, and the one this whole platform is named after.
